Skadden's European Investment Management Group is a multidisciplinary team based in London, dedicated to serving a diverse array of private capital and asset management clients. This group advises sponsors, investors,  and strategic parties on a comprehensive range of fund-related transactions. Their expertise encompasses the structuring, establishment, and operation of various pooled capital enterprises, including general private equity funds, real estate funds,  credit funds, infrastructure funds, hedge funds, and managed accounts.

Our attorneys are known for their ability to deliver cohesive advice on both a pan-European and global scale. They leverage their deep understanding of market practices, standards, and regulatory frameworks on both sides of the Atlantic and across different market segments. This enables them to provide sophisticated and customized solutions, which address our clients’ most complex issues with precision and insight.

Person Specification

The new hire will join the Investment Management Group.  We are looking for one individual with 1-3 years' relevant post qualification experience, preferably in the London market or experience in a similar common law jurisdiction (although those with less or more relevant experience will be considered on their merits).  The role requires a candidate with diverse skills across the full spectrum of private funds work, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and venture capital funds. Knowledge of the UK and EU regulation of fund and asset managers will also be helpful.  Excellent experience in managing client relationships and strong interpersonal skills to fit into a collegiate team are required for the position. The successful individual will have a strong career history to date, from a top tier funds practice, and will be able to demonstrate adaptability.  A high level of academic record is essential.
