We operate as a single fully integrated team of English and US lawyers, working hand in hand with the English qualified associates in the London office and in close collaboration with Skadden’s market-leading US capital markets practice. The successful candidate will work on a mix of high yield and debt capital markets (DCM) transactions, leveraged buyouts and other complex financings and in very close cooperation with the equity capital markets, banking and M&A teams. |
We are looking for a US qualified debt capital markets associate with 2-6 years’ post-qualification experience, with a focus on high yield bond offerings. The ideal candidate will have significant experience advising European and emerging markets based issuers on high yield offerings, bridge to bond transactions, other underwritten financings, liability management transactions and other complex financings. A mix of experience representing banks, issuers and sponsors is preferred.
The role requires a candidate with excellent experience in managing client relationships and the ability to assist clients on day to day issues. Excellent written communication and drafting skills are also required as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative. They must also possess the skills to take on a high degree of responsibility within a fast paced but friendly environment. A high level of academic achievement required. |
